Easy EC Wool Sleep Sack Minimize
I've been knitting for 2 months, and I started this pattern 1 month ago. I finished it last night. So, I'd say it's a pretty easy pattern. Can you cast on, knit, purl, increase knitwise, and cast off? Yes? Yay! Can you join the left and right sides of your work to knit in the round? Sure you can!!
This is for a 12-30 pound baby, age 1 month to 2 years.
It's super stretchy and has a long "turtleneck" at the top, so it can fit a new baby if you fold down the turtleneck.

Worsted weight wool, NOT superwash, not merino. Lion brand 100% wool works well. Cascade 220 would be fine, also. I like Araucania Nature Wool. Yummy!
Using size 3 needles, cast on 112 stiches very stretchy.
Join the left and right to knit in the round.
Place a mark for start of round.
Knit 2, purl 2, for a long time. When the neck is at least 4 inches long, change to size 7 needles.
Increase knitwise twice every round.
Continue until the garment is 2 feet long.
Cast off. IMG_4912.JPG

You are a Master Babywearer Minimize
In China, it is said that "A master is anyone who knows more than you do." So, you are all master babywearers compared with most of the moms in the world. You do NOT need to know everything there is to know about babywearing -- if you know even ONE carry with even ONE type of carrier, you are in possession of knowledge other moms desperately want -- even if they do not yet know they want it. ;-D Therefore, you should all feel confident enough to teach others! So, pick a public place, pick a day of the week, and start sharing your skills with other families! Then, list yourself here.
