Artists and illustrators can be a great tool for promoting baby wearing.  They can capture the traditional aspect of some of the slings or portray a modern feel.  If you know someone who is a great photographer (not necessarily even a “famous” one) see if you can schedule a photo session with them.  A photographer can capture the emotional bond between you and your child in a way that an ordinary snapshot may not.

Check your yellow pages for photo studios and independant photographers in your area.  Send your photos with your letters to other influential people to help them envision the baby wearing experience in their mind.

Contact your local community college.  They may have a “live” studio for their art or photography students and may schedule you for a sitting free of charge.
